The problem
Implement the service frontend based on the requirements and designs provided by the ministry team.
MyArmy is an official digital service of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The client runs the project: product, design direction, and regulatory decisions all stay with the ministry's team. We were brought in as a frontend contractor — to build the interface from the tasks assigned and the designs approved.
The approach
Frontend within the agreed scope
Handled frontend development inside the scope we were given, taking on each task exactly as agreed with the client's team.
UI inside the existing system
Built interface components within the project's approved design system, without stepping outside its rules.
Building the screens
Assembled the screens from the client's designs and tested them on real devices.
Fixes and releases
Made technical fixes and supported each release rollout on the frontend side.
Business impact
The agreed frontend of a government service runs in production. We make no claim about the product's effect on the ministry's own metrics.
Before the project
The ministry's team had approved product decisions and designs that still needed to be built on the frontend.
How work arrived
Tasks came from the client's team within an agreed scope.
Where it broke down
The interface had to ship inside the project's existing system and within the client's regulatory limits.
