The problem

Turn a vague goal or a pile of materials into a learning path that actually makes sense.

Studying on your own usually starts with dozens of tabs, saved videos, and notes that never connect. An off-the-shelf course rarely matches the learner's exact goal and level, and a general-purpose AI chat answers questions without ever walking anyone through a program. The job: take one topic, or the learner's own materials, build a personal course from it, and stay with them from the first lesson through to actually remembering it.

The approach

01Step

A course from a single prompt

The learner names a topic and their level, and the AI breaks the goal into modules, short lessons, quizzes, and flashcards. The first lesson is ready in about two minutes.

02Step

Learning from your own materials

Added uploads for PDFs, links, and YouTube videos. Instead of a generic program, the learner gets a course built from their own sources.

03Step

The mechanics of remembering

Built in active recall and spaced repetition. Quizzes lock in each lesson, and flashcards bring the material back before it fades.

04Step

AI study partner

Built an assistant that knows the context of the course: it explains a topic another way, gives examples, and checks understanding by voice or text. Practice is available 24/7.

05Step

Progress and the business model

Added weekly goals, streaks, and progress analytics, and split access into Free, Pro, and Team — from the first three courses through to unlimited learning and team onboarding.

Business impact

Going from a topic to a finished first lesson now takes about two minutes — with nobody piecing a program together out of dozens of sources.

Before the project

Learners built the path themselves: dozens of tabs, videos, and notes that never added up to a coherent program.

Entry point

A topic, a PDF, a link, or a YouTube video.

Where it broke down

A general-purpose AI chat answered isolated questions, but never walked the learner through a program or brought material back for review.

The result

We launched a bilingual landing page at ielts.school and the product itself at app.ielts.school. Learners pick any topic or bring their own materials, get a structured course, and run the whole cycle — lesson, quiz, review, and AI practice — in one place. The product keeps growing inside the studio.
